I have been using the P4F humbucker in my Celentano pre wired HSS set up for some time now.
The single coils in this set up are the XX60 (6.3K) .
A very versatile set up. Pop, rock, funk, blues, fusion, it’s all there. The humbucker has clarity with punch so you can hear all the notes ringing out.
All the strings are even in volume with the right amount of body and a little compression, Not muddy what so ever.
It’s in the PAF range but with a modern twist .
I have a push/push knob for the split of the humbucker. That works like a charme. The in between strat sound in position 2 is all there.
Because of the different copper wire of the humbucker, you don’t have a loss in volume and no shrill strat bridge single coil sound.
The XX60 are big sounding single coils. Fat and with the right amount of definition. Notes jump out of the fretboard.
The wiring and parts are also top notch. Very neat and clean soldering. The hum, even the single coils has a very low noise floor.
Service and communication with the Celentano team is very friendly and professional.
